    Custom Shirt Printing – Choosing the Best Fit and Style

    An important part of designing shirts using Singapore shirt printing is to choose the best style and fit of shirt for your purposes. There are many options but two of them are unisex and women’s cut. Both have their benefits so understanding them and their differences is necessary to ensure those who are wearing the custom apparel look good.

    Choosing the right one

    The main differences between unisex and women’s cut t-shirts is that the latter are specifically shaped and designed for the female shape and unisex are styled to be worn by anyone. But it is also with noting that clothing is quite subjective. What one person might find more comfortable or a better fit is not what someone else feels. Some people might not want to consider wearing something that is unisex so it really is also about what individuals choose to be confident and happy wearing.

    Consider these important factors

    When deciding between women’s cut shirts and unisex shirts for your custom shirt printing needs here are some factors to keep in mind;

    • Style favourites – Some people prefer a loose and baggy fit and some people prefer something tighter and more fitted. The loose and baggy fit would mean using unisex t-shirts whereas the fitted means using the women’s cut. Fitted does not mean that is uncomfortable though, it should be pulled-in in the right places without causing restriction in movement.
    • Targeted audience – Another thing to consider with Singapore shirt printing and getting the shirts right is that you think about who your targeted audience is and what suits your brand best. If you do not target women, then women’s cut t-shirts are not going to be as desirable!
    • Body shape – Unisex shirts can suit people of more body shapes than the women’s cut shirts. That versatility might be just what it needed with this customized printing.
    • Occasion – When and where are the t-shirts going to be worn? Is it for everyday wear, for being active? Then something more casual might be good. If it is for something more event-like to be dressed up, then loose might not be the way to go. The function of the shirt is really a huge part of how to decide what style t-shirts to use.
    • Thickness – As well as thinking about what the shirts are for in terms of occasion, you also need to think about seasons. If it is to be worn in colder months then you want a heavier material with the style you choose and that does not work with all of them. A lighter fabric would be better for warmer months.
    • Sleeves – You can get uniform and women’s cut shirts with different length sleeves or none at all so that is another choice to make. It does affect the look of the garment quite a lot so needs some thought.

    Conclusion

    Whether you choose the women’s cut option or the unisex option for your custom shirt printing try to think about the purpose of the printing and who will be wearing it to reach the best choice.

    1. Neckline: Just like the number of styles out there, this feature is central to cultivating a particular look. Even if the other facets of a particular garment are ideally situated relative to a particular body, getting a neckline wrong can be a deal-breaker.
    2. Fabric: The composition of a shirt is arguably the foremost factor in shirt selection for both print-on-demand merchants and their customers. If Something looks amazing, but is uncomfortable to wear – too tight, itchy, scratchy, nonfunctional, etc., they won’t get much traction with customers.
